When are try-outs?
Tryouts for 2007-08 seasons for U11-U14 age groups will be held June 4-8. Tryouts for the High School age girls U15-U18 will be held June 11-12. Tryouts for the High School age boys U15-U18 will be held in July, dates & times will be announced later. Placements for youth development & youth academy teams (ages U-8 through U-10) will occur June 4-8. See the United FC web site & calendar for exact dates & times the weeks prior to the acutal dates. Players can be added to the program Ad Hoc with the endorsement of the coaching administration and/or the tryout committee. For information contact Steve Domin and/or Rich Schroeder for details.

Approximate fees per age group?
The United FC fees for the 2007-08 season are as follows:
Youth academy $275
Youth development U9-10 $550
U11-14 teams $800
High School boys & girls U15-18(1/2 season) $550
Fees include team uniform (shorts, 2- shirts, socks), 2 tournaments in the fall & 2 in the spring and year round training.

Kasl registration?
All players must complete a KASL registration form and pay the appropriate registration fee before they can tryout or practice with the club. This fee will be deducted from the total United FC fee. The KASL registration form is available online at kenoshasoccer.com

Field locations?
United FC home games are all played at Anderson Park (Adjacent to Tremper High School). For individual directions to opponents fields please visit either the KASL, MYRSL, or the WYSA websites.

How are teams selected?
Youth academy & development teams U8-10 are filled on a first come basis (unless already participating in United FC the season prior). The club will place as many kids as roster spots allow & based on the number of qualified coaches available. Competitive tryouts occur for all ages and genders for teams U-11 and older. How do I get involved as a parent?
Parent involvement is important for the success of the club. Several volunteer positions are available in a variety of areas including team managers, board members and tournament coordinators. If you are interested in volunteering for any areas you should contact the United FC President Barry Moreland.

Attending board and parent meetings?
Monthy and Ad Hoc Executive Board Meetings are open to the public. Managers, Coaches, Parents, Membership and United FC Families are encouraged to attend and participate. If you are interested please contact United FC President. The United FC Executive Board exercises privacy provisions, is sensative to personal issues, and reserves the right in disclosure.

All-club dates?
An all club annual meeting is held in late June. In addition the club offers a variety of all club dates in which families can attend various events such as high school, college & professional soccer games, as well as community based activities.

Community service?
As part of our select mission United FC strongly feels our student-athletes will learn and respect our community while participating in/through soccer. Community service events include, but are not limited to, volunteer work, common area clean-ups, Big Brother-Little Sister Events, fund-raising activities, community outreach, supporting other groups and organizations, and the like. Hardships?
The club does offer scholarships to qualified individuals to offset some of the cost of team fees. Persons interested in will need to contact Rich Schroeder. Individuals applying for scholarships are also expected to provide community service hours by working additional shifts at the club tournament.

Is there specialized training?
The Club does offer specialized training for both speed and agility, and for Goalkeepers. Goalkeepers train at Carthage College separately from their teams. See the Club calendar for details. Questions call Susie Foster at 262-945-8546. Goalkeeper training is included in the United FC tuition. For specialized speed and fitness training, the Club references Adam Syphers at 262-945-0275, OR Rick Kilps at 595-2257 (for an additional charge).

Uniforms, Spirt Wear, and Apperal?
Uniforms are included in the overall Fee. United FC is a Nike program. All players are fitted and their game equipment is ordered at the time of June Try-outs. Warm-ups and back-packs are seperate but offered. For information or Ad Hoc orders please contact Mary Vagnoni. United FC and Nike offer a line of Spirit Wear and related products to members. The product ordering form is located on and downloadable from United FC's home page. Collection deadlines are April 14th, at Try-outs, June 30th and at the Battle on the Border at the Sponsor's Tent in August. Please have forms and money to managers prior to these dates for bulk ordering times. Spirit wear orders are delievered directly to your home. Simply print out the ordering forms and deliver to your manager with payment by the ordering deadlines. Managers and Administration will remind members about ordering dates.
